Inauguration of the Doña Evangelina Filomena Oyo Ebule Sports Complex on the Marcos Obiang Nsue Estate in Riaba.

Within the framework of the celebration of the seventy-first anniversary of the birth of H. E. First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, the inauguration took place of the Evangelina Filomena Oyo Ebule Sports Complex on the Marcos Obiang Nguema Nsue Estate in Riaba.

The event was attended by special guests, presidents of some institutional bodies, members of the Government headed by the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Constancia Mangue de Obiang.

The representative of the construction company, Mondjeli Corporation, presented the technical report which covered the extent of the sports centre, which has been built on an area of 10,500 square metres, and consists of several sports areas.

The head of Mondjeli congratulated the promoter of the work on her birthday, while expressing his thanks to the Ministry for Education, University Teaching and Sports, its Secretary of State and its Directorate General of Sports for the advice given during the construction of this magnificent Doña Evangelina Filomena Oyo Ebule sports complex.

The First Vice Prime Minister of the Government and Minister for Education, University Teaching and Sports, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene, began his speech by thanking the First Lady of the Nation for her dedication and support for the national education system, through the construction of several educational centres throughout the country, this time demonstrating that it is not only important to educate, but it is also important to do sport.

The President of the Republic, in his speech, praised the work done by the First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, particularly for the initiative to build a sports centre in honour of Evangelina Filomena Oyo Ebule, Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies and of the PDGE, who died recently.

The presidential couple, addressing the people of Riaba, acknowledged their loyalty and adherence to the PDGE in all electoral confrontations.

H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo did not fail to invite the users of these facilities to make good use of them, as they join other infrastructures that the Government has built in the city of Riaba.

The cutting of the inaugural ribbon, a priest’s blessing and the visit by the presidential couple to the modern Evangelina Filomena Oyo Ebule sports complex in Riaba brought the event to a close.
