Both Houses of the Somalia’s Federal Parliament on Monday approved the Revised 2023 National Budget in a joint session in Mogadishu, SONNA reported.
The Parliament passed 917 million dollars of financial budget of this year, 2023 and the Cabinet did it on November last year.
Somali Minister of Finance, Bihi Iman Egeh thanked the lawmakers for approving the budget, saying it is a move orward with the last leg of the debt relief process.
‘Today the two Houses of Parliament approved the revised 2023 government budget. This is important for national operations to continue effectively and to move forward with the last leg of the debt relief process. I thank our honourable lawmakers for their debates and support’, Egeh said.
