PWD Bamenda budgets 187.500.000frs for 2023/24 season

PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda has voted a budget of 187.500.000fs for the 2023/20224 football season.

The budget was made known on Saturday, September 16, 2023, during the club’s annual general meeting held in Bamenda.

Speaking during the meeting, club president, Pascal Abunde revealed that the club is ready for the new season, which will kickstart in October.

“Our objectives have always been to challenge for either the league title or the cup of Cameroon. We are hoping to have a good season this year as compared to that of last session,” Pascal said.

The management also revealed that though some key players have left the club, they have brought in 17 fresh bloods to revamp the team.

Saturday’s meeting also focused on preparations ahead of the 2023 Cameroon Cup final.

The team is doing everything to win their second Cameroon Cup trophy come Sunday, September 24th, when they face Fovu Club of Baham in the final at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium.

The Abakwa Boys won their first Cameroon Cup on March 13, 2022, by defeating Astres of Douala 1 nil.
