Contributing to the Government’s efforts to achieve SDG 2, Zero Hunger, in 2020 WFP reached 142,337 beneficiaries through unconditional resource transfers and distributed 6,137 mt of food and USD 4.3 million through cash-based transfers. In the framework of its supply chain services, WFP moved 395,557 mt of goods through the corridor, most of which supported humanitarian operations in Eastern Africa.
