New Intensive Care Unit Opened In Bungoma


Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka presided over the opening ceremony of the Hopekins Hospital Intensive Care Unit to supplement efforts of the already outstretched County health facilities.

Speaking at the official launch today at Township ward, in Kanduyi constituency, Lusaka acknowledged the efforts by the Hopekins facility towards enhancing primary health care service provision to the residents.

He added that the facility will go a long way in bridging the existing gap in our health system.

‘Such efforts are divine and will tremendously impact our health sector’. He noted

The governor retaliated his deliberate efforts to deliver better healthcare services to residents.

Lusaka noted that the county is keen on matters of primary healthcare his administration will equip health facilities across the County.

On the other hand, the governor urged residents involved in the encroachment of public land around Kanduyi stadium to pave the way for the expansion of the roads leading to the sports facility.

Lusaka
noted that the county gears toward hosting the rest of the Country in June 1 2024 Madaraka Day celebrations.

He urged those involved in public land encroachment to obey court orders and pave the way for road expansion.
