Ouagadougou: Minister in charge of the Economy Aboubakar Nacanabo affirmed Wednesday that on a half-yearly target of 50%, his department carried out 56% of the missions entrusted to them .

The minister was speaking at the end of an evaluation meeting of members of the government midway through their mandate.
According to Minister Nacanabo, ‘among these achievements in the first half of the year, there is among others, the mobilization of more than 1,300 billion CFA francs in revenue, the mobilization at the end of June 2023 of 86 billion for patriotic support, investment socio-economic to support internally displaced people to reach their locality of origin and the operationalization of the treasury deposit bank which was recently inaugurated.
He also specifies that ‘there are also challenges to be met i
n the second half such as those linked to a certain number of dematerialization operations to further facilitate the lives of the Burkinabè, to the mobilization of more than 1,400 billion of resources and creation of a national reinsurance company.
The minister in charge of finance hopes that by the end of the year, his department can carry out all activities to reach a rate of 100% or be closed to it. For this, all its employees are called upon to mobilize more to meet these major challenges.
