Olympique of Marseille forward, Faris Pemi Moumbagna, through his lawyers, have issued a warning to France-based Cameroonian rapper and activist Valsero, whose real names are Gaston Abe, after he shared images of himself at the Marseille football club shop, purchasing and displaying the Cameroonian footballer’s shirt which he just bought.
In a video which the rapper recorded while at the shop, he asked the attendants ‘Do people talk about Moumbagna in this area?, because I saw some journalist from RMC who tried to sabotage the Cameroonian player’.
In the communique sent by Moumbagna’s lawyers Valsero was warned not to associate Moumbagna’s name and his image without authorization.
The lawyers also demanded that he refrains from using Moumbagna’s name in any future publications or in any other form.
The legal representatives called on Valsero to respect their client’s right to control his image and reputation.
