After Ouagadougou, the National Agency for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ANEREE) is campaigning to promote its services in Koudougou from September 10 to 13, 2024.

The campaign to promote ANEREE services initially concerns the first three cities of Burkina Faso, namely Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso and Koudougou.

This involves carrying out strong communication actions which will aim to inform and raise awareness among the population about the services offered by the Agency as well as best practices in terms of eco-energy behavior.

In this area, ANEREE offers the population services such as quality control of equipment and installations, energy audits, support and monitoring of the construction of works and infrastructure and training of stakeholders.

And the general director of ANEREE, Tobouré Gandré, said that these different services deserve to be known to all, hence this current campaign.

According to him, this campaign represents a great opportunity for ANEREE to reach out to consumers to ex
plain the scope of the services and to make itself better known to populations, businesses, public structures and local authorities.

So, after the Ouagadougou stage which was held from June 25 to 27, it is the turn of the city of the red rider to host the event from September 10 to 13, 2024.

Concretely, according to DG Gandré, the campaign consists of carrying out information and awareness-raising actions for stakeholders in Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency, and of requesting support from the media.

It will also involve carrying out quality checks and holding discussion meetings with delegated project owners and private structures subject to the energy audit.

Mr. Gandré firmly believes that all these actions will contribute to improving access to energy for the greatest number of Burkinabe.

Following the opening statement by the DG of ANEREE, the media naturally sought, through questions, to shed more light on a certain number of parameters.

The close collaborators of the DG who were also present were
able to provide satisfactory answers to the journalists’ concerns.
